Improving U.S. patient care with onsite primary healthcare centers

In an interview with Healthcare Transformers, WeCare tlc President & CEO Raegan Le Douaron shares her insights about how onsite primary healthcare centers enable patients to get the care they need when they need it— translating to better energy and performance at work and reduced costs for the organization and patient.

“Healthcare exists to prevent, maintain, and better the health of individuals. How it is funded varies around the world with systems managed at the government and institutional levels. The US has an especially complex and expensive healthcare system. In order to prioritize patients, the system needs to become more patient-oriented and companies need to become more employee-centric. One response to these challenges is an increasing trend of employer-sponsored onsite clinics offering primary care, which have grown in both prevalence and the scope of services offered over the years.”
