COVID-19 can hit when you least expect it – Keep your guard up and follow health guidelines!

The pandemic is woven into every aspect of our lives from school to work to our personal time. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen more cautionary tales. COVID-19 has the ability to strike anyone, anywhere.

Recently, President Trump tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalized shortly thereafter. Since then, a number of elected officials have also come forward with positive tests. This comes at a time when we’re seeing an uptick in COVID-19 cases across the nation.

It’s more important than ever before to remain vigilant, continue being careful and take the needed precautions to keep yourself and everyone around you safe.

At WeCare tlc, we’re working tirelessly to minimize the effects of COVID-19 and keep our communities as healthy as possible. As we face these difficult times, healthcare as we know it has changed. Our entire team is joining forces to continue revolutionizing the way healthcare is delivered across the country.

We’re now offering onsite COVID-19 testing that delivers results within 24 to 48 hours at select centers. Thank you to all of our staff and patients for diligently adhering to our new safety and source control standards. This has allowed us to keep everyone free of onsite exposure incidents.

As the air turns colder and the flu season begins, we have several recommendations to battle against the pandemic as it moves from summer to fall.

  • Be sure to get a flu shot this season

With the pandemic still affecting people all over the world, it’s important to protect yourself during the upcoming flu season.

  • Always wear your mask in public spaces

When visiting a public place, you want to ensure you’re consistently and correctly (over both nose and mouth) wearing your mask. We recommend stashing masks in your car or bag, so you’ll never be without one when you need it.

  • Avoid crowds and maintain social distancing

COVID-19 feeds off crowds. Avoid busy gatherings and places where maintaining six feet of distance isn’t possible.

  • Remain diligent in handwashing

It’s human nature to touch your face or rub your eyes. You can decrease bacteria transfer by cleaning your hands often.

WeCare tlc is devoted to the health and wellness of every member, client, partner and team member we serve.
