WeCare tlc announces Dr. Kenneth Power as Medical Director

Dr. Power brings over 20 years’ experience in primary care to new role

WeCare tlc, a leading onsite and near-site workplace health center provider, welcomes Dr. Kenneth Power as its new Medical Director.

Based in Perrysburg, Ohio, Dr. Power is a board-certified family physician with over 20 years of primary and palliative care experience.

In addition to his role as Medical Director, Dr. Power also serves as the lead family physician for the WeCare tlc Perrysburg Health & Wellness Center.

As Medical Director, Dr. Power will oversee provider engagement and coaching, EMR development and quality improvement.

Dr. Power is passionate about developing meaningful patient-physician relationships through in-person visits and the belief in a balanced “medication vs. patient-centered goals” approach to cater to each patient’s unique lifestyle and level of motivation.

“Dr. Power has been such a valuable resource on the ground in our Perrysburg Health & Wellness Center and he understands the importance of delivering quality primary care to our patients,” said Raegan Le Douaron. “We’re thrilled to have him in this new role to continue to help us make people healthier and companies stronger.”

Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada, Dr. Power holds a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences and an M.D. from Memorial University, followed by a family practice residency with a rural medicine option. He has also achieved board certification in hospice and palliative care.

“I am extremely proud to begin to work with WeCare tlc in a new capacity to provide quality, coordinated healthcare to our patients and create meaningful patient-physician relationships,” said Dr. Power. “I look forward to bringing my experience and skills to the role of Medical Director for WeCare tlc.”

Dr. Power’s expertise includes risk reduction through advanced lipid analysis, genetic polymorphism-directed treatment of hypertension, allergy, immunology, mast cell assessment, and bioidentical hormone replacement.
